We all know that carrots are helpful for eye health. As you get older the functioning of your eyes may diminish , somethings we can control but somethings we can't . Really all we have is control of our bodies and what we consume. So lets share some herbs that may be helpful in maintaining eye health. Eyebright , Gingko biloba , Bilberry ,(high in bioflavonoids) and Saffron to name a few.

I Support Jamaica Projects ABOUT THIS PROJECT This project is about working with at-risk youth (ages 10-24) in an effort to improve their life opportunities. Specifically, it provides remedial literacy and numeracy education to street and working children with the aim of reinstating (those of school age) into the formal school system. Those in their late teens are trained in vocational activities such as barbering, cosmetology ,information technology, and videography. Participants are enrolled in a specially tailored remedial non-formal education programme from Monday-Thursday where they are exposed to an extensive curriculum around reading, writing, and mathematics. Participants also engage in life skills courses on topics such as career development; conflict resolution; reproductive health; and personal hygiene. I Support Jamaica Projects ABOUT THIS PROJECT A project of Liberty Hall, the Garvey Multimedia Computer Centre was established in 2004 from funds donated by the National Housing Trust and the Friends of Liberty Hall. Since then the computers have been regularly serviced, however, given the pace of technological advancement, the computers have become virtually obsolete. Four out of the nine computers are no longer operable and require replacement, and the dedicated laser printer also purchased in 2004 is no longer working. Refurbishing the computer centre requires replacing the computers with the HP Multi Seat Computing Solution that links six monitors with one CPU; and acquisition of a laser printer dedicated to the Computer Centre.
