I've had a bag of lentils sitting around for months. I felt like I needed to lose some weight after eating too many carbs. After three weeks of various concoctions of lentil soup, I lost weight and I'm back in my skinny jeans.
Lentils lower cholesterol improves digestion and may stabilize blood sugar. Lentils are high in protein, iron, potassium, and folate.
