Treasure Beach -Turtles' Nest Villa

Image
I love to share images and information on properties that are located in my favorite parish. Treasure Beach is a lovely, sleepy community located in St Elizabeth. I spoke to a friend the other day who lives abroad and happens to be a travel agent. She is also Jamaican, she has never heard of Treasure Beach and part of me thinks that's a shame and the other part wants to keep that piece of heaven under wraps. I worked with hotels in Negril and I have been all over the island, but Treasure Beach is my favorite. It depends what you are looking for, if you want quaint, laid back and quiet this is the community for you. The property I am showing off today is the gorgeous Turtles' Nest Villa , a gorgeous three bedroom villa located between the Great Pedro Pond and the Caribbean Sea. Turtles' Nest Village can accommodate 6 people.  The property has all the amenities you will need which includes a chef, a driver, maid service, wifi a secluded beach and more!!! ...

Virgin Olive Oil and Joint Pain

Image
I read years ago that virgin olive oil helps with joint pain.  I even told other people to use  it but I have never done it . Many people who have been through Chic V /Chikungunya complain of arthritic pain months even years later.  I suggested and used turmeric myself , but I just  started using Virgin Olive Oil to treat my joint pain . I started with  two teaspoons in the morning  and I am pleased .  After my bout with  Chic V I suffered through flares of joint pain in my fingers , knees and my ankles. especially in the mornings. Now after 8 days ,barely a twinge, after day one I felt improvements.  I am too young for arthritis and inflammation in the body is problematic in the long run. If you are already taking medication please consult with your doctor. http://blog.arthritis.org/living-with-arthritis/olive-oil-anti-inflammatory-arthritis-diet/ http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/news/20050831/olive-oil-may-have-pain-relieving...

I love fresh fruit and I love to discover things that many of us may not be familiar with. Bitter Melon , is a fruit which grows fromt he vine. We use the tea as a blood cleansee and we call it cerasee . This fruit is used all over Asia , they cook it in stirfrys and other ways . Did you know that this plant is also used to lower blood sugar as well as other ailments >look it up sometimes the most "ugly " fruit is the most beneficial . FYI in the states bitter melon is sold in a tablet form in health food stores and they call it Karella . But try the fruit and see what it can do for you .

Natural beauty

In Jamaica lemongrass or fever grass grows wild . If you are lucky like me i have fevergrass in my backyard. fevergrass has a lovely lemony aroma but not only that it is good for you . Boiling the fevergrass in water and letting it cool and using it on your face is a great cleanser and toner. Its also excellent for high blood pressure, it also helped my sister who suffered from fevers due to lupus . lemongrass is also an excellent repellant of mosquitoes Well i heard that apple cider vinegar is awesome for getting rid of pimples. I proved it to myself yesterday . after cleansing your face wipe the spot with the apple cider vinegar. i am shocked at how quickly it worked
